Tee hinge with pivots

Central Europe, 16th century

Malleable iron. Wrought, incised sheet dividing into two acanthus leaves with cambered tendrils. Plate terminates in a rolled barrel. The pivot hinge is forged and hammered into an acanthus leaf with tendrils. Decorated with grooving.
